Cross Flooring Company was established in 2002, and began with a dream, pick-up truck, and a handful of tools. We have grown to encompass all types of projects; residential homeowner, residential new construction, and commercial. Now in our thirteenth year we run a fleet of vehicles, the most state of the flooring equipment in Birmingham, operate from two warehouses, and have the ability to handle any size project with our own people in the timeliest manor.

Servicing over 20 different general contractors in the area with entire new house set ups, full line of both prefinished and unfinished Hardwood Flooring, full line of carpeting, and full line of Tile, we are sure to have just the right product for your project. We operate as a service company however, at Cross Flooring we believe that customers and trust are earned within your home, not only with superior products, but with the best in customer service. We do not operate a retail location; all you have to do is call and arrange a time for us to meet with you within your home. By doing this we are able to keep our overhead lower than traditional floorcovering stores and pass that discount on to you. All labor is done by Cross Flooring employees. We do not sub out our labor to a third party. This allows us to maintain our commitment to our customers of 100% satisfaction. Mr. Cross has a commitment to put his hands on every project we do.

Our Owner
Mr. Cross has been in the Floorcovering business since 1997. Starting with the Gilchrist organization in Jasper, AL and working with them till 2002, at which time Cross Flooring began. Mr. Cross attended Corner High School in northwestern Jefferson County graduating in 2000. After that he attended UAB, majoring in Industrial Distribution, and graduating in 2005 with Sigma Delta Academic Honors. Mr. Cross has a pledge to the community and donates to numerous charities in the area: Hand-in-Paw, Camp Fire, Boys and Girls Clubs.
